Hi! I’m Khye, a father of three, creator of family memories, and your South Florida photography teacher! Photography has been such a fun road to travel. I have learned much about life and integrity through the camera. Now I am thrilled to share all that I’ve learned with you in the Live Wonderful Photography Classes.
I am excited to teach you how to explore new creative possibilities, enhance your personal perspective and build your creative confidence with photography. There is no limit to what you are capable of.
As your teacher and guide, my goal is to help you discover your inner creativity, to live in greater happiness, harmony and understanding of who you are.
As my mother says, “We’re with Sharon and Karen, on our way to Joy’s house”.
Life’s A Dream
To create as an artist for living is challenging but I wouldn’t have it any other way. As a professional photographer, I am keenly aware of how photography keeps my mind so active and observant. Being able to dedicate myself to discovering, evoking, and capturing genuine family dynamics through the technical mastery of visual storytelling at Little’s Photography has been a dream.
I’m overwhelmed with gratitude when I think of how awesome my job is. I feel so blessed to be able to create imagery for people. I get to make people laugh, be creative and spontaneous anytime I want, and I get to do whatever I want to do to bring out the best in others in front of my lens.
It’s a privilege to make one of a kind works of art for family legacies that will be cherished for generations to come. As a professional photographer, everyday is different, as I get to be a part of and document so many unique milestone moments.
I am, most fortunate of all, because my three children, Koda 5, Onyx 3, and Vera 1, are my dearest and most precious. I love and adore them each in their own special way. Fatherhood is a beautiful thing that I cherish above all else. My fiance Alyse, has taught me so much. The lessons she has offered me are unparalleled and I look forward to our future together, watching our children grow.
Creativity in Nature
My love for art and its many expressions has been a part of me ever since I can remember. I had the privilege of growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of the The Cumberland River in Montgomery County, Tennessee. My older brother and sister always challenged me to think for myself at a young age. This profoundly influenced my view of the world and art itself.
My love for mother nature continues to grow and not a day goes by that she doesn’t inspire me. Now, I encourage my children in their discovery of nature, knowing they will have the opportunity to change the world for the better. Mother Nature and God are what drive me to create. Though many forms of art have inspired me, it is the camera that has given me a creative outlet like no other. “Taking pictures” started out as just a fun thing to do in 6th grade to be goofy with my best friends. Once I got my first “good” camera I was obsessed.
My favorite thing to photograph then and still is the sky, the great big beautiful sky. Night time, day time, morning time, evening time, anytime is a good time for Khye and the sky. It gives me true joy on the deepest level. That is why, it’s my mission is to use my creative talents to advocate for Mother Earth. Things are changing, rapidly. I’m looking forward to what we earthlings are going to accomplish together.
With this deep routed connection in nature, I’ll leave you the story that human history has painted of me and the origin of my name. In the United Kingdom, the name Khye means, “A True God who is all mighty and conquers”. In Basque it means happy. In Chinese, Victor; in German, warrior. In Kono, it means King of Kings. I’m here to help you conquer your creative fears. I’m here to be a happy warrior who fights for mother nature, and that includes you and me too.
“Over the last seven years I have been witness to Khye’s ongoing transformation, from a young creative man with something to prove and someone to protect (himself) to a master of contribution and gratitude. A gentle man with the greater good of all (that means you too) at the center of his focus. He inspires our team with his beautiful talents, and leaves our clients dying for more.
He is loved by his family, now a woman his equal and three beautiful children. With a long list of qualities and attributes that I could attest to, the one that surprises and delights me the most is that he is humble. A man of such great talent and contribution… and yet humble.
When I first heard the meanings he referenced above about the origins of his name, the one that rang so true for me was~ King of Kings. Whatever that is, the King of Kings, you can feel it if you pay attention… when he is free to create.”
