Danielle is a wonderful teacher. She explained the basic use of my camera with hands on learning and in warm soft voice that I could understand. I highly recommend her for the first class and for follow up classes if you are an inspiring photographer or really want to have a great hobby. She is awesome.

What can you expect?
The number one thing you need to know is that you will have fun! Everyone who attends these workshops and private lessons leaves feeling confident about their abilities to pick up their camera and capture what they want to capture.
This is not just a class where you walk around, take photos and learn what you did wrong. You will learn the fundamental aspects of your camera and how your camera works so that you build true understanding of photography.
Throughout the class, you will enjoy a comprehensive slideshow presentation that makes it easy to follow along with each step in the process. We will then take what you’ve learned into a practice by setting up scenarios for you to photograph.
Each class is typically two to three hours. The best time of day is late afternoon or early morning. That’s when the workshops are scheduled. Private lessons are also 2-3 hours and are very personalized to fit everyone’s needs. If you have additional questions or feel you might want more learning time, we can easily schedule more time after class.
Our monthly workshops are held at one of two locations. Partnering with Adjectives Market, a creative community of artists and craftsmen, they have classrooms in their Altamonte Springs and Winter Garden locations! It’s a perfect place to feel inspired and learn this lifelong creative skill. Each workshop at Adjectives Market is limited to 10 students or less. So each person will get ample one-on-one time to ask questions and get guidance from me.
Winter Garden Workshop Location
137 W. Plant Street
Winter Garden, FL 34787
Altamonte Springs Workshop Location

Private Lesson Locations
Private lessons are hosted within 20 miles of Orlando, FL. Many will schedule their private lesson conveniently at their own home. It’s important to remember that we need ample outdoor accessibility as well as a comfortable space indoors to watch the slideshow throughout the class. If you have questions about a possible location, feel free to message me and I’ll let you know if it works.
What you need to know:
Bring a DSLR (or mirrorless) digital camera.
No matter the brand, I can teach it to you! Most students have Canon, Nikon or Sony cameras. But you can also bring a Fuji, Olympus, Kodak or Panasonic. Not sure if your camera will work for this class? Send me a message about it and I’ll let you know.
A point and shoot camera will not do for this particular class. However, you can always schedule a private lesson to learn your specific camera!
Don’t forget a pen/pencil and paper.
You will want to take a few notes. Don’t sweat it if you do forget writing materials. You’ll have the opportunity to buy the 60+ page comprehensive digital slideshow after class. It has every bit of information that you’ll need to keep up your practice and reference what you learn after you leave.
You’ll want to have a water bottle (and maybe snacks t00!)
We’ll be going from indoors to out. It’s a 2-3 hour class. Having something to drink (with a lid!) will keep you on your toes and read to intake all this great information you’re about to learn.
